A lovely riddle for you today :)?

She drops the pebble as she's taking it out of the bag, and claims it was white. Even if the old man could clearly see it was black, despite him knowing it was, she can just tell him to check the remaining pebble in the bag. If it's black, the other should be white by process of elimination.
