What is better for a violin student who has been playing for 6 years -- a acoustic violin or an electric one?

hands down Acoustic.....I buy all my instruments on swstrings.com I'm sure they do international shipping but it's probably gonna cost a arm and a leg. Look for a Strunal acoustic violin very pretty to look at and they have a good rich tone or you can get a Yamaha electric violin....
