Demolition derby car?

Me and my 2 other friends are turning a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba into a demo car, we have taken of all chrome, headlights, and other cosmetic touches we do not need, we have also removed the gas tank and for now are just using a gas line to a Jerry can, removed the dashboard, and rigged it so we do not need a key to start it. We are right now giving it back brakes because the fronts were seized. We have done a lot to this car, but my question is, did we make a good choice for a Demo car?
