Why do people deny that there is racism in the deep south and downplay it so much?

Oh ok I get what your asking! Well people on here try to downplay the racism in the deep south, because the majority of people on here could possibly be from the deep south regions. Also in very few places in the deep south it's not as races as it use to be back in the day.
