Will you buy new EPA-approved E15 gas despite engine manufacturer approving only up to 10% ethanol?
All conventional (non flex-fuel) engine manufacturers and warranty statements only approve of maximum of 10% ethanol alcohol in E10 gas. Some older and specialty engines prohibit all alcohol in gas=E0.The EPA approved E15 waiver on 10/15/10 (submitted by ACE and ethanol producers) which will now allow sale of a new gas type that can contain up to 15% E15 ethanol alcohol, (for on-road vehicles from 2007 onward). Will you use E15 gasoline anyway despite your engine owner's manual and warranty limiting maximum amount ethanol alcohol allowed in gas at only up to 10%?
